The Super Specs glasses were bought as an afterthought from Sardo's magic shop by a boy named Weeds. Weeds sprinkled "magic dust" supposedly comprised of crushed bones on them. Whenever his girlfriend, Marybeth, puts them on, she can see into a parallel universe where sinister looking beings notice her.
